Please make sure your child knows how they will be going home each day. If you have to make any changes to your child's transportation, please send a written note or call the front office at 397-2100 before 2:15pm.

STUDENT DROP-OFF / PICK-UP PROCEDURES 

Our priority remains student safety. We need your help and cooperation for a safe and smooth drop-off or pick-up. Please be familiar with our procedures.  

Please remember that the car drop-off line is a cell phone free zone. For the safety of your child as well as other children and teachers, please refrain from talking on your cell phone while you are in the line. 

A.M ARRIVAL / DROP-OFF 

  • Children should not be dropped off at school before 7:30 a.m. Prior to this time, there is no supervision.  

  • Before 7:30 a.m. continue to remain in stadium parking lot for those who use the front car loop drop off. At 7:30 a.m. parents may circle around to the front and go all the way down to the end of the sidewalk to begin dropping off students. 

  • Students should be dropped off at the designated drop off areas located at front car loop (3rd and 4th grades) and back car loop (5th grade and siblings). 

  • Students will report directly to their homeroom.  

  • Please stay in your car and allow your child to enter the building under the supervision of the administrators and safety patrols on duty. 

  • At 7:55 the 3rd grade door closes. Students can continue to use the front entrance and back entrances until 8:00 a.m. after which the tardy bell will ring. If you arrive after the bell rings, please park your car in the front designated parking spaces and escort your children to the front office. All students arriving at this time must be signed in. For their safety, children should never be unsupervised in the parking area. 

  • Please do not pass other vehicles. 

  • Remember that the handicap spaces are reserved for cars with a handicap tag. 

  • For safety purposes, all visitors must check in/ sign in at the front office before continuing to enter the main building. 

  • If you have items to deliver to the classrooms, leave them in the office. We will be happy to deliver them for you. 

P.M DISMISSAL / PICK-UP 

  • If you wish to pick up your child out early, you should sign your child out in the front office before 2:00 p.m. to avoid traffic. 

  • If there is a change of dismissal plans for your child/children, please notify the school in writing prior to the day of the change. This ensures that we are able to deliver the proper information to your child/children before dismissal or notify the bus office.  All changes in transportation should be sent in a written note. 

  • Please inform the office and teacher if there are persons who are not allowed to pick up your child. Pertinent custody documents will be kept on file in the child's school record.  

  • The school provides hangtag, with the number assigned to your child/children and should be displayed in the front window, prior to entering the school campus and remain displayed until your child/children enter(s) the car. 

  • Bus dismissal for all grades begins at 2:25 p.m. 

  • Car dismissal for all grades begins at 2:30 p.m. 

  • Staff members will be on duty to assist students who are being picked up and will supervise each child to his/her car.  

  • Parents who are picking up should remain in their vehicles at all times.
