After carefully assessing road conditions and school facilities across Pickens County, the School District of Pickens County will return to normal school operations on Wednesday, February 4, 2026.
While conditions across the county have continued to improve, a few secondary roads and shaded areas may still be affected.
Our transportation team will continue to monitor conditions and update bus route information as needed. Families are encouraged to continue monitoring the updated road list this week to stay aware of any ongoing impacts to bus routes.

Please note: This list may not include every impassable road, as conditions can vary across the district. Families living on roads not listed should still exercise caution and use their best judgment when determining whether it is safe to travel to the bus stop or school.
